Product Overview

Ferrite block magnets provide the simplest geometry for magnetic circuit integration and fixture design. Available in both isotropic (dry-pressed) and anisotropic (wet-pressed) versions, blocks can be ground to tight tolerances on all six faces. FerriteCustom produces blocks from 10×5×3mm up to 150×100×25mm, with optional countersunk or through-holes for mechanical fastening.

Through thickness, Through length, Through width

Key Features

  • Available in both isotropic (multi-direction magnetizable) and anisotropic (oriented) versions
  • All six faces can be precision ground for tight stack-up control
  • Countersunk or through-holes can be added for mechanical fastening
  • Excellent dimensional repeatability: ±0.1mm standard, ±0.05mm ground
  • No coating required — ferrite ceramic withstands water, alkalis, and most solvents

Customization

  • Custom length × width × height to drawing with DFM tolerance review
  • Countersunk, countersunk-through, or plain through-holes added via grinding
  • Selective face grinding (e.g., only magnetic pole faces) for cost optimization
  • Magnetization orientation specified per application (any of 3 axes)
  • Matched sets by gauss/weight for balanced assembly applications

Typical Applications

Fixture and workholding systems for manufacturing automation
Magnetic separation bars for food processing and recycling
Conveyor magnetic guides and positioning elements
Educational and science demonstration kits
Door and gate magnetic catch mechanisms
